Hyrune : The title sounds retarded, I know.
Well, I am a level 22 Mercenary, going for blade.
My questions are :
What is the collecting area, and what is it for?
Any good builds for a Mercenary headed to blade? (Skill wise)
Are there any non-GP capes, if so, what level can i get one?
My current build is the infamous "20 Point Gap", with 30 int (Jk, Stam xD), capping dex at 80 or the nearest 8x speed break.
With all the "ADV PT NEED FILLER", how do I know what level they want? If they will take me just for the exp, is it beneficial for me?
Dueling is glitched right? My friend didn't fight back and it said I lost.

2-I could give you a build, but before you go any further. i should warn you that you must be SAWFULLY rich to be a ''good'' blade, so it isn't reccomended to do it as a first character
Forget about skill wise because blade use only one skill: Berserk. You don't need the rest
STR 70
STA 40
DEX 53
thats a Str based Axe build. Why an axe? because it makes more damage and you can make up for the loss of speed at later levels
3- Theres Gaia cape, but it costs a real load of money. Other than that, stick with Guild cape
4-It's called an advanced party, and is a very beneficial for you and your party. They don't care what level you are, al they want is having 8 players to fill up the party. When it is, party members gain bonus experience IF they are in company of someone else. You shouldn't care about it right now. youll search for soem at level 50+
5-No the duel is messed up. If ir says in the window ''(name of the one you dueled with) has won the duel'', he actually didn't win, but you. As a tip, Just look at the words Win or Lose

I am now up to Lvl31 (Missing penguin buffs XO)
Would my blade be substantially cheaper if I used swords? (Which I am x])
One last question :p
Say I have a +4 Fire Sword, and a +2 Fire Sword, now I use a Fire +1 card on the swords. Do they have an equal chance of success?
It seems higher numbers on my weapons have been prone to break easier.

2- They won'T have the same chance of success. The +4 has a really low chance of succeding and will break if it fails. the +2 sword has no chance of breaking and has 3/4 chance of failing. If you want to upgrade your +4, you must use an Sprotect to avoid your weapon from breaking
Spros costs about 4-5 mil, or 0,80$ if you plan on using gpotatos.

So I don't have to bother you any more, is there any website/way I can remember the success rate for all numbers?
Oh and, I've been seeing TONS of other mercs, and they don't have any skills other then mastery and its requirments. I, however, have maxed slash, 10 spin attack (Forgot name >.<), and 1 blood strike. (In addition to mastery and its requirements, of course.) Is this bad? D:

2-Blood Strike wasn't necessary, you could put spin attack(called Keenwheel) to 16 and start spamming it like hell until level 60. You shouldn't need a reskill since you will max only one skill: Berserk

popcorn : 1. Collecting Area is where your character sleeps, under the rain. And dances in his sleep, Oh so tenderly,
2. Good Builds for a blade, Hmm, Pure INT. You will be the most intelligent Blade there is. INT > DEX > STA > STR.
3. As for stats, if youre using swords, increase your Axe Buffs and vice versa. And say "Pllzzzzzz" to high levels for money. They will help you.
4. The only way you will get a cape is if you join a contribution party by yourself, and level it yourself until it reaches level 150. That way, you are guaranteed a cape.
5. The BEST AFK spot BY FAR under the Flaris bridge. Your coordinates should be x-110/y-667 or something like that. Look to the west, then east, and finally turn South, where you will face the observatory. If that doesn't work, go to the waterfall, 3x xp there.
6. And yes, dueling is glitched. It gives more XP than anything else, except you have to do pushups and headstands as the duel progresses. Big boy tips right here.
7. Also, running into the Arena naked, and getting pk'ed over 20 times will grant you xp as well. There's always a GM there, who will give you favor, or Cheer you.
